Last night, Greg Doyon informed the commission that he is working with the Animal Foundation, albeit slowly. He indicated they are discussing who would be responsible for what and are reviewing the existing plans.
Stay tuned.

How many more animals are to be put down while you work slowly Mr. Doyan?
While we're at it, how many more dollars are you going to allow ECP to waste while we wait for you to take action?
Welcome to Great Falls Mr. Doyan, now do the job we pay you for.
Hope springs eternal? Let's hope the non-profits and city can reach agreement and harmony on this, and allow the police to get back to their primary duties and let the Animal Foundation and Humane Society reach an agreement if they truly care about the animals, which I believe they do.
LT, if you knew what you were talking about, you would know that the euthanasia rate has gone down and the adoption rate has gone up since GFPD took control of the shelter. And there is trained staff at the shelter - not police officers, but real animal control officers, unlike when HSCC had it.
