Electric City Power Board

Their meeting scheduled for this Monday, June 2, has been rescheduled to June 9 because of scheduling conflicts.

Last year one meeting was canceled due to illness and one meeting was unofficial because a quorum was not present.

We are only six months into 2008 and already the following has happened:

February - met, but didn't have a quorum to conduct business
May - meeting canceled
June - meeting canceled and rescheduled

And Randy Gray, former mayor of Great Falls and staunch proponent of HGS, hasn't attended one meeting in 2008 and missed four meetings in 2007. It's time he's replaced.

Past time. The city needs to clean its own house, NOW!

At the last meeting they imposed ordinances on a struggling widow who pleaded for more time and help apparently to no avail........

Here's my message to the bobbleheads, enforce the laws and rules on yourselves before picking on the helpless......

Remember the city commissions consternation over the Human Society when it could not hold a board together?

Who might step in and seize ECP now that the seizers puppets are not up to task?

You would think Randy Gray would have been at the meeting with SME's slide show and especially the same day the former Mayor had his 'epic' two page editorial opinion published! The board also failed to convene a quorum the day before the city commission RUSHED into a forty year contract for SME power!
