Sunshine Finally Prevails!

On March 8, 2010, Judge E. Wayne Phillips ruled in favor of sunshine.

Citizens will now be able to see the vast majority of documents contained within the so-called black box at city hall.

Clearly, Judge Phillips was not amused by the antics employed by SME and the City to keep citizens from seeing information that has been their constitutional right to do so from the very beginning of this boondoggle.

With ECP dismissal, the commission will exercise direct oversight. With these records now open, that
helps transparency, and based on what what else is found, then it's time for accountability and let the 'chips fall'. Too bad this wasn't released before we got 'sucked into' this financing obligation and 'co-signing' for
the neighbor's kid's car. Let 'sunshine laws' prevail and OPEN meetings under our laws.

Sandra, no sunshine yet, just 'dark clouds' from city hall again, and I wish courage would prevail.

Once again Judge Gregori rules at silly hall, very sad indeed!

Like Mayor Winters, I am tired of all of you - whine, whine, whine! If you are so upset, why didn't you all file to run things? Back off and give the new commission a chance. (And I know Guynn ran - and she lost.)
