Modified Air Permit

According to an article in today's Tribune and a legal ad in Saturday's paper, SME is applying for a modified air permit.

If granted, this would modify a permit they already have for a coal-fired plant.

According to Tim, even though SME is still looking at the viability of a coal-fired plant, they could not operate both.

Mr. Gregori can state all day long that "they will not operate both plants at the same time", but just who is going to monitor and enforce that clause? The DEQ does not have the resources therefore can't and won't. This is just hot air from Tim full well knowing he can and will do as he pleases with the operation of these plants were they to be built......
