Postponed Again

As was indicated in today's Tribune, the City Commission last night voted to amend the wording regarding the formation of an Animal Shelter/Enforcement Advisory Committee. A couple of commissioners weren't in favor of the ordinance as previously written.

Commissioner Bronson is going to rework it and see if he can make all parties happy.

It's a good thing that time is being taken to seriously work on this. For those of us who follow City Commission meetings, we know they have been notoriously quick in the past to "hurry up and take a vote" regardless of public comment or questions.

I commend Commissioner Bronson for taking on this challenge. Good luck!

Bravo Commissioner Bronson acting
with reason and deliberation regarding the resolution. We can only hope the same attitude prevails in the commission before considering 'throwing good money after bad' to SME.

Commish Bronson is going to act with reason......meaning he's going to try and come up with something Her Holiness Stebbins can agree with. I wish him well!!

I hope Bill will be able to fashion amendments that will make the resolution stronger. I am not sure what needed to be done to make improvement that would meet the desire of all commission members and the mayor. I guess time will tell. I wonder if the fact the Animal Foundation was not too enthusiastic about the committee (resolution) had anything to do with the desire to table the motion and proceed with changes?
