Disorderly Premises

At Tuesday night's work session meeting, City Manager Greg Doyon unveiled an ordinance to help control problem properties, or more to the point, problem people living at these premises.

This ordinance as currently written is not yet a done deal. GeeGuy brought up some concerns and I'm sure there are more to come.

This is a good chance as a citizen to voice your opinion or ask questions of the City Manager or Commissioners. It hasn't happened often in the past that citizens have had an opportunity to see an ordinance or resolution more than a day or two before the vote.

Take advantage of it.

If you were really paying attention, you would know that the city generally accepts an ordinance on first reading, and then a public hearing is set for a subsequent meeting. There is a minimum of two weeks (NOT a "day or two," as you state) for citizens to study the ordinance. If they choose not to attend the public hearing, they may contact the commissioners by email, phone or snail mail with their concerns.

This post of yours is a lie.

Blatant misrepresentations and lies usually do hit a nerve. How about checking your facts before running your uninformed mouth?

This does sound like our Mayor.

Passionate, surly, vicious, snotty and most of all out to destroy any voice that might, just might ask questions about someone's "pet charity."

Dera fine

You are still begging the question of whether or not the initial post is accurate. It is not - therefore it IS a lie.
