Taxpayers hang on to your wallets! The city is about to give over a million dollars toward the construction of what was supposed to be a privately run animal shelter. This is in addition to the near one million dollars the city will have lost by the end of the current fiscal year (including the past two previous fiscal years) running the animal shelter. The city checkbook is the gift that just keeps on giving. But then again, does anyone really care? I mean after all, what is a few million dollars here and a few million dollars there as long as taxpayers don't mind receiving less than adequate fire and police protection; abysmal city financial planning; and increased taxes.
Get your facts straight. The city is NOT GIVING the money to the shelter. For the REAL story, call city manager Doyon. This website is full of city-hating crackpots telling outright lies.
Call Doyon? Hahahahahaha Bwaaaaaaaaah As if he were the city manager. In title only. The urinal in the men's room has more influence in running the city than in over-his-head-greg.
12:57pm.....open the box, then we'll see.
