Town Hall Meeting

When: Tuesday, August 9 at 5:30 pm
Where: Civic Center, Missouri Room

Agenda:
To discuss the parking of large motor vehicles and recreational vehicles in residential areas.

PRESS RELEASE:
The Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide comments as well as share their ideas and concerns related to the parking and restricting of large motor vehicles on public right-of-ways in residential areas. At this time, no decisions have been made by the City Commission regarding this issue or the draft ordinance. At the meeting, the public will have the opportunity to learn more about the issue and the draft ordinance.

At the Town Hall Meeting, representatives from the Council of Councils will share information on the history of the issue and how it was brought to the attention of the Great Falls City Commission. The Great Falls Police Department will be present to discuss existing City ordinances relating to large motor vehicles, recreational vehicles and on-street parking. Staff from the Planning and Community Development Department will explain what requirements are needed in order to park large motor vehicles on private property and address code related questions. City staff will also review the draft large motor vehicle ordinance with the public.
