About Time

Finally. The Great Falls Tribune is finally reporting on the problems plaguing ECP.

Why did it have to take five years and 5 million dollars (including water credits) later to finally report the reality of this gross misuse of taxpayer's money?

See here for an abbreviated version of Sunday's (Nov. 14) article.

Prowler

For folks living in the Lower North Side neighborhood of NC#7, a prowler was spotted this morning in the vicinity of 9th Street and 7th Avenue North. According to the email, this same person was seen a couple of weeks ago, peering into a ground level window of an apartment building in the same area.

Police have been notified.

ECP Out Of Lawsuit

This is good news. According to this article in Saturday's (Oct. 30, 2010) Tribune, Electric City Power and the city have been dropped from the lawsuit that was filed by Yellowstone Valley Electric in December 2008.

The city though is still losing $5,000/day from the boondoggle that is ECP.

Expo Park

Cascade County Commissioners continue to study ways to better improve usage of the fairgrounds. There is still time to complete this online survey.
