What a Bunch Of Baloney

I am unable to attend the ECP meeting tonight. I think the part I will miss the most is hearing why the executive director thinks the Tribune's poll about the accuracy of the Burns and McDonnell report is even worth mentioning.

Yes, the commissioners last Friday packet has a copy of the poll conducted by the Tribune shortly after the B & M report came out. They also got copies of the Tribune articles where certain folks criticized that report's findings.

Desperation is all that comes to mind. How in the world an executive director of a city run utility can think an online poll conducted by a local newspaper, that can't even be bothered to conduct an investigative report into the operations of this business, is important, is beyond me.

"If you can't tell the truth, dazzle them with BS".

And don't forget; we're paying her to waste everybody's time.

She really confused us tonight. Gregori has been espousing that SME (Southern) has spent 40 million to date on the HGS Coal-fired facility. Auditors claim that number is 20 million. Balzarini clarified this evening by saying that each of the SME's (Southern and Electric) spent 20 million apiece on this project. This gets more interesting and convoluted by the minute.....

Well we can tell ECP's 'boss' we've got something more compelling than the Tribune 'poll' and that's called an ELECTION that's throw the 'Old Guard' out on their ear!

The Tribune's poll gives us a much-needed reality check of what the public's view is on this topic. I appreciate the fact that the Tribune continues to dig into this story and present all sides -- not just the one side that critics want to see presented.

"The truth has a certain 'ring' to it." Ernest Hemingway

Folks are suffering 'ECP fatigue' with the continuing deceptions and lack of transparency from city government. When it finally hits their pocketbooks, then more taxpayers will understand the true consequences.

This post from some ass.

We have people in charge who do not need to tell lies. All they have to do is try and hide the TRUTH. They are doing a good job.

Reality check from a TRIB poll? No a reality check is from an election. After the primary there were posts that called the critics losers. Well we still do not know what will happen in January.
Olie as the brains of the ECP Board, now that is a funny joke.
