I applaud all who serve in the councils, but when will the Commission respect your service and take the councils seriously? Perhaps the city charter needs to provide more of 'stakeholder' opportunity for the councils. That will engage more volunteers and the commission will be more effective.
They, the city commission, pay lip service only to the neighborhood councils and seldom take their recommendations into serious consideration. These councils have very little if any impact on policies enacted at Silly Hall!
Maybe "Vision Great falls" may want to visit this situation to make these councils more influential in our community?
