Fire Department a brave and effective lot, but I don't think the city can afford any further expenditures until the City leadership behaves responsibly and
respects the People again.

ps - fire dept. should not be competing with commercial ambulance services either, it's ridiculous when you see the whole damn 'circus' arrive, with half a dozen responders and several vehicles...

With all due respect...... I doubt that a person in need of emergency medical services really cares how many responders arrive to provide assistance just as long as somebody arrives in time! The cost of the fire department responding to an emergency is not all that great when you consider the responders are being paid no matter if they respond or not. The fire department usually arrives before the ambulance and that can (and has) made a difference in saving lives. I WILL VOTE FOR THE LEVY! It is simply unfair to penalize the firemen and women for some very poor fiscal decisions made by some members of the City Commission and the Mayor.

Unfair? Reality bites so time to live within the budget and deal with it. We can't afford more taxes.

Vote NO!
