Good News!

Through the efforts of Neighborhood Council #7 and many others, downtown will once again have a grocery.

Friends;
I wanted to end your Monday with a bit of good news.

It is now official, the former owner of the Cut Bank IGA has purchased the downtown Grocery Store.

The new downtown IGA should be open by August 20.

Don't be shy; it is because of YOUR effort that this entrepreneur saw a market here. This new investment in our community proves the economic viability of our community.

Sincerely,
Aaron Weissman

Well done Aaron and all the brave and persistent citizens who wouldn't take no for an answer! Let's hope that kind of spirit prevails throughout the community on other vital issues. Let's hope
citizens will rise up and convince
mass transit to expand service, not diminish it and I hope community leaders lend their moral support, especially the elected ones.
