"One Hell Of A Mess"

No kidding. The 2010 federal census is already approaching the $14 billion mark and that's after the census department scaled back plans to buy 500,000 hand-held computers to 151,000. It's going to cost more than 3 times that of the 2000 census, which came in at $4.5 billion.

Unpreparedness; lack of experience; cost overruns...sounds kind of familiar.

With your assumed level of expertise, you should be involved in government. Why aren't you stepping up? Everyone is a critic - but few have the nerves and grit it takes to stand for public office.

I am ashamed to say it, but is GF Girl left and went into government, who would keep us little people informed? That is besides her and GeeGuy?

Although we DO need more toughies like Mary, and GF Girl could most likely do the job wonderfully.

Oh, whatever, 6:21. That is such a lame defense.

"Oh, if you're so much smarter, why don't you run?"

So, only candidates or past political officeholders should be allowed to comment on government?
