This is a good cause. These folks do much more than we think and get credit for less. They are volunteers, on call 24-7, use a lot of their own equipment and do not charge for their services.
And they do know how to manage a dollar.

Good choice GFGirl. After reading about the rescue at Hardy creek, I definatly think they need more money., Like I said in the forum, how much does renting a homeland security helicopter cost??? Yikes!! Cascade County needs a rescue team, and we need to fork out what they want, if not more! They arent asking for much, thats for sure.
They are only asking for about $30 thousand. It will all be used for new equipment. Their snow cat was built in the 1960s. Their newest piece of equipment is over 10 years old (a motor boat).
