City-County Planning Board

With this talk about annexation, it jogged my memory on a related issue.

Stuart Lewin, a loosing city commissioner candidate, and others have mentioned at more than one city council meeting about the dissolution of the City-County Planning Board. (In April 2005 the County Commissioners dissolved this board - see page 7 of the report). Of course, the city points the finger at the county as being to blame for this dissolution. I'm not saying the city is right or wrong, but I am a firm believer there are two sides to every story. If Joe Briggs or another official would like to share the county's side of the story, please feel free to do so.

It looks like you are not getting many comments. One reason is you are like a nanny, always trying to correct something. When people comment they are probably at work and don't have much time. With so many blogs out there it is hard fitting a new one in to their day.

With limited time people will stay with a Bog that does not require trying to say what they want in "a nice way" or civil as you put it.

You also want "thought provoking ideas", gee who is the arbitrator of how one reaches that hurdle.

I know how to be civil. Some people don't. Lack of civility does not mean like of inteligence, but a lack of social graces.

It is a blog - I like those where anything goes.

I am glad that those whose who are more sensitive than I have a place to go where all are civil.

I prefer tackle football.

Believe it or not, for a lot of folks, civility does come naturally and it doesn't take time and effort to be that way. You evidently are not one of these folks.

GFGirl, pay no mind to anonymous -- believe me, for a brand-new blogger, you're off to a heckuva start.

He (or she?) is just a hater.
