Neighborhood Councils - Week of August 7, 2017
Two councils are meeting this week in a joint effort to discuss emergency preparedness:
NC#8 and NC#9
When: Thursday, August 10 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Where: Memorial Park Gazebo at 1901 2nd Avenue North
Everyone is invited to an ice cream social hosted by Councils 8 and 9 and sponsored by Meadow Gold Ice Cream. Council members will be serving free ice cream cones and root beer floats. In addition, City Emergency Manager Dave Nordel will be handing out personal emergency preparedness booklets and discussing 'sheltering in place'.
